A Kruger Park Game Drive will highlight why the Kruger is world-renowned for its game viewing, where nearly 2 million hectares of an unrivalled diversity of life forms fuses with historical and archaeological sites, this is real Africa, and you can explore it on your Kruger Park Big 5 guided game drive.
Departing the lodge at around 05h00, depending on the season, we drive to the Kruger Park. Once inside the Park we begin our game drive in an open safari game viewing vehicle. As your African safari experience unfolds your knowledgeable guide will be there to lead you along your way.
We travel through the Kruger Park en route to a picnic spot or popular campsite where you can enjoy breakfast and a break before continuing your safari. The rest of your day is spent game viewing, bird watching and stopping off at the various waterholes within the Park.
We depart the park at gate closing time and arrive back at Thornhill for a hearty meal whilst sharing safari stories around the camp fire with fellow travellers.
Clothing Tip: Pack a warm jacket as early morning and evenings can be cold.
