Game Drives in Thornybush Game Reserve
The Thornybush Game Reserve is home to South Africa's Big Five, namely Buffalo, Rhino, Elephant, Lion and Leopard. Thornybush Game Reserve offers a range of exciting safari activities for the whole family. Imagine tracking African wildlife through the bush on a dawn or dusk game drive in an open Land Rover.
Experienced rangers and trackers drive the open vehicle off-road and into the bush to track the big game that inhabits this area.
Game Drives in the Kruger National Park
Departing the lodge at around 05h00 we drive to the Kruger National Park. Once inside the Park we begin our game drive in an open safari game viewing vehicle. As your African safari experience unfolds your knowledgeable guide will be there to lead you along your way.
We depart the Park at gate closing time and arrive back at Thornhill for a hearty meal whilst sharing safari stories around the camp fire with fellow travellers.
Clothing Tip: early morning and evening are very cold.
