Thornhill Safari Lodge is the ideal answer when you are looking for accommodation near Kruger and the absolute best game viewing experiences. We offer affordable getaways with comfortable rooms and excellent facilities in 13 authentic thatch-roof chalets at Thornhill Safari Lodge. Vibrant fabrics and local hardwood furniture all create that rustic yet stylish bush atmosphere. All bedrooms have en suite facilities, overhead fans, mosquito nets and wooden decks that overlook the lodge, pool area and surrounding bushveld.

We cater for group bookings, individual guests on self drives, fly-in safaris and honeymoon couples. Transfers can be arranged from both Eastgate and Kruger Mpumalanga International Airports. All accommodation is on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis with some light lunches included. Two game activities are included per bed night.
Thornhill Safari Lodge is located within the Greater Kruger Park ecosystem - South Africa, a mere 40km from Kruger Park's Orpen gate. This area is a premier eco- tourist destination, with ever present views of the Drakensburg Escarpment.
The Honeymoon Suites at Thornhill Safari Lodge are Double bed en-suite chalets, with corner bath tubs and outside showers, bathroom amenities, towels, overhead fans and air-conditioning, mosquito nets, coffee & tea stations with 1L of bottled water per room.
Thornhill Safari Lodge also offers guided nature walks throughout the conservancy. Big 5 game drives are conducted daily into Kruger National Park and Thornybush Private Game Reserve. The lodge also offers optional tours to places of interest. These include a tour of the Panorama route including the Blyde River Canyon, a visit to the Moholoholo rehabilitation centre, the Kapama cheetah breeding project or a guided tour of the Mafunyani cultural village.
